**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
+ Assist with the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures, including those related to chemical and petrochemical environments.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
+ Support emergency response activities by coordinating with site personnel and local authorities when appropriate.
+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or hazardous conditions within the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
