SCM Logistics Liaison Representative

:

The position will act a liaison between the two General Dynamic Aerospace companies Jet Aviation and Gulfstream. The SCM Logistics Liaison Representative will be located within the Gulfstream facility in Savannah connecting intercompany operational departments in the field of procurement, distribution and logistics. The goal is to provide technical resources to related teams across all sites by generating accurate, competitive, and timely support. The baseline annual salary range is: $88,728 -$ $97,601.5.

Minimum Requirements

• Experienced in Supply and Tooling management
• 5-8 years of relevant SCM logistics and project management experience
• Ability to solve problems creatively
• At least 2 years of experience leading functional/cross-functional initiatives.
• Good understanding cross department process and project management
• Strong communication skills
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others
• Strong initiative and self-direction and willingness to go the extra mile
• Strong project management experience
• Knowledge in international trade and in customs
• Knowledge in luxury and/or in high-value shipments management is a plus
• High-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
• Strong track-record in managing customer expectations in a matrixed organization
• Communication skills to exchange functional information with all levels of leadership and diverse stakeholders

Main Responsibilities

• Strengthening inter-company cooperation through support work by

• Providing daily guidance in prioritizing required parts

• Acting as point of contact for spare parts & tools quotations, orders, deliveries and non-conformities.
• Supporting relevant departments with locating parts and finding solutions
• Assisting with part expediting process
• Coordinating and supporting all internal stakeholder to ensure on-time delivery of material and parts
• Supporting in domestic & international shipment organization,
• Collaborating with business services such as customs agents, brokers, etc., to understand whether processes for tariff classification and trade compliance are working correctly
• Setting and lead commutation channels to ensure on time exchange of information to and from stakeholder
• Cooperating with Jet Aviation tool managers and other stakeholder to support local, regional, and Global needs for all tooling activities,
• Gathering and analyzing data, create and share KPIs
• Working hand in hand with tool managers to resolve issues.
• Acting as contact point for all special request
• Assisting and help communication between shops and relevant Gulfstream departments
• Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network

Desired Characteristics

• Bachelor's degree in business management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
