The Press Brake Operator plays a vital role in the production team by accurately setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components. This position requires attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with team members to maintain efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
- Set up press brake machinery according to job specifications
- Operate press brake to bend and shape metal parts
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations during operation
- Troubleshoot machinery issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
- Collaborate effectively with the production team
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in metal fabrication
- High school diploma or equivalent
