As a **Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol** in **Savannah, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and professionalism will provide peace of mind while supporting access control and fostering positive interactions with those on site. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies when required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
+ Monitor access points and identify potential hazards or unauthorized individuals in and around the chemical or petrochemical facility.
+ Report any suspicious activity, incidents, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel and keep accurate logs of daily activities.
+ Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal guidelines.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
+ Experience with computer or tablet use is preferred.
+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
