Are you passionate about swimming and coaching? Capital City Club's Aquatics department is currently seeking a Summer Swim Coach/Instructor . We're in search of candidates who are not only professional but also enthusiastic and patient. If you possess the necessary swimming knowledge to teach and the passion to motivate, we want to hear from you.

Position Summary:

As a Summer Swim Coach/Instructor at Capital City Country Club, you'll play a vital role in teaching our rapidly growing swim program. This position requires someone who excels at working with children and effectively communicating with their parents. It also offers the potential for year-round, part-time employment with Aquatics Programming and Swim Lessons.

Coaching Responsibilities:

• Develop swimmers of all levels
• Provide basic lessons to new swimmers
• Assist athletes and experienced swimmers in refining their skills
• Maintain and submit a monthly availability schedule to the Aquatics Manager for membership sign-up (Template provided)
• Communicate efficiently with the Aquatics Manager and promptly respond to parent's and swimmer needs
• Create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for your swimmers
• Incorporate safety skills to progress participants toward competitive swim team readiness

Qualifications:

• Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid certification
• Red Cross CPR/AED certification
• WSI or SSI certification
• Swim Coaching Experience (required)
