Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Valid, active state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology services in school settings
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school or healthcare environments
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in professional development activities and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
