Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the efficient operation of the kitchen
• Maintaining cleanliness standards through dishwashing equipment and sinks, polishing silverware, removing garbage, cleaning equipment and work areas including the sweeping and mopping of floors
• Assist in general food preparation for events

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexible with menus and meal prep and can problem-solve when ingredients are not available
• Must have a valid Drivers License and clean MVR record

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position (stand for eight hours or more a day, sitting and/or walking)
• Must be able to communicate accurate information
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
