Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide skilled nursing care as a Stepdown RN in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patients boarded in the Emergency Room within a 100-mile radius of Port Wentworth, GA. This travel nursing opportunity requires a proactive and experienced RN ready to step into a critical care role immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown patients in the PCU setting, ensuring stability and readiness for transfer.
- Collaborate with ER staff and interdisciplinary teams to monitor patient status and respond to acute changes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Utilize strong clinical judgment for rapid assessment and interventions.
- Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in a stepdown or critical care setting.
- Successful completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment.
- Recent professional references from previous travel assignments.
