Industrial Electro Mechanics, a leader in the repair and sales of industrial rotating equipment, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Field Service Assistant . Shift: Days, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilitie s

• Safety First: Follow all established safety procedures (including customer-specific rules), recognize potential hazards, and report them immediately.

• Assist Skilled Technicians: Support inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electric motors at customer sites. Be available for on-call and after-hours service when needed.

• Troubleshooting Support: Aid with mechanical, electrical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to identify equipment issues and help perform quality repairs.

• Routine Maintenance: Perform basic inspections, minor repairs, and assist in installing or replacing parts and equipment.

• Job Site Preparation: Stage tools, materials, and equipment to ensure work begins efficiently.

• Care of Tools & Equipment: Maintain company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working order. Operate them responsibly and report any problems promptly.

• Travel: Overnight travel up to 10% of the time.

• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (entry-level role).

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Familiarity with common hand and power tools.

• Ability to lift, walk, stand, and handle physical tasks daily.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

• Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
