Director-Service Line Development
JOB PURPOSE: The primary responsibility of the Director of Service Line Development is to support the strategic priorities of Piedmont Atlanta through service line planning and development. This includes managing large-scale projects and project teams, business planning and development, and financial modeling of key service lines and other system strategic imperatives. The position is also responsible for optimizing patient throughput and maintaining standards of practice for service delivery.
Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital or Business Administration.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Five (5) years of experience in healthcare, project management, or finance. • Project management and/or management consulting experience with large scale projects. • Experience working with and presenting to Executive leaders and collaborating with physician team to develop strategic vision and program plans. • Ability to translate vision and concepts into actionable business plans and implement the plan to reach targeted results. • Working knowledge of healthcare financials, analytical tools and the ability to both perform analyses independently and/or oversee analysts in performing work.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree is preferred.
