Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital surgical unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and a minimum 50-mile distance from the facility.

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) surgical unit
• 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required (must not be expired)
• OR nursing experience required
• Driver's license required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a minimum 2-year break before returning to this facility as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but OR experience is expected given the setting
