As a **Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol** in **Dalton, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to maintaining order, while you assist with access control and handle any security-related concerns. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting overall operations at the manufacturing and industrial location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or identify potential issues.
+ Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
+ Work collaboratively with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment while upholding professional standards.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
