Overview
Registered Nurse, PCU (Progressive Care Unit) in Atlanta, GA. Start date 09/01/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $1,657-$1,754 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 2x3 Days. Setting: hospital-based travel assignment. This role covers float coverage across all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac population, with a 1:3-4 patient ratio. BLS and ACLS are required, EPIC EMR experience, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar-sized facility. Minimal RTO.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac conditions, including telemetry as assigned
- Float to all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac population; maintain a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain; administer and titrate cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressors per protocol
- Administer medications, perform frequent vital signs checks, and address hemodynamic changes; respond to cardiac monitoring alarms
- Document thoroughly in the EPIC EMR; contribute to care plans, escalation of care, and multidisciplinary communication
- Collaborate with physicians, unit teammates, and ancillary staff; provide patient and family education and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia) or eligibility for practice in Georgia
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a similar-sized facility or in a unit with cardiac patients
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Ability to float across PCU/IMCU floors and telemetry beds; comfortable with high-acuity cardiac patients
