Summary (Position Description ): Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and adjustments. The Cycle Counter will also assist the Warehouse, Production, Engineering and Customer Service in locating materials.

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Duties & Tasks

• Perform cycle counts daily in a timely manner.
• Research and record inventory discrepancies using Macola.
• Identify and resolve shrinkage.
• Verify and enter return to stock information from all departments.
• Verify and enter unplanned issue information from all departments.
• Analyze Negative inventory report data and perform inventory adjustments as need it.
• Process and dispose of damaged or discontinued parts.
• Assist during physical inventories.
• Provide assistance to Inventory Management, Receiving and Shipping departments as need arises.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• Experience in conducting inventory audits.
• General knowledge of metric and imperial measurements. ·
• Experience working with heat numbers, lot control and material testing records a plus
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking
• Basic math skills

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to use WMS and RF guns proficiently.
• Must be willing to work outside in all weather.
• Experience with Standup and sit-down forklift. (Must be able to pass certification)

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing duties on this job you are frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, electrical current and chemicals. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate. Some outside work required where you will be exposed to heat, cold, wind and precipitation.

Physical Demands:

• Required to sit, stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time. The position may also require bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
