2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The 2nd Assistant Superintendent works with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the golf course. The 2nd assistant superintendent is expected to observe golf course conditions and make suggestions. He or she should be comfortable speaking in front of large groups and can speak basic workplace Spanish. The 2nd Assistant Superintendent is expected to interact with members throughout the day and always carry himself or herself in a professional manner. This person should have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, work well in a team environment, and be determined to succeed in the golf industry.
Requirements
• 4-year Turfgrass Management Degree
• The ability to obtain a GA pesticide license within 6 months of employment.
• 1-3 years of golf course maintenance experience
Compensation
$19 to $20 per hour.
