Opportunity:

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Must be available to work various days of the week
• On-call requirement: two 24-hour calls every 8 weeks
• Weekend requirement: minimum every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• Required certifications: BLS, RN license (single state or compact), PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 18 months), ACLS (within 180 days)
• Associates degree in nursing or diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and shared governance activities
• Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced emergency environment and respond to emergencies decisively
• Must have excellent time management and critical thinking skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care required
