Join a market-leading industrial equipment/energy systems manufacturer and run a 4 5 person IT PMO that partners closely with business leaders. You ll own the project pipeline, governance standards, and cross-functional communications. Expect real impact: portfolio shaping, SDLC toll-gates, status transparency, and better capacity planning across IT. On-site at Global HQ (Thomasville, GA).

What you ll do

• Lead a small PMO (PM, Systems Analyst, App Trainer, Enterprise Architect, BPA).

• Run intake prioritization approvals; maintain the project/portfolio roadmap and scenario plans.

• Standardize artifacts (charter, status, RAID, financials); drive toll-gates and SDLC compliance (Agile & Waterfall).

• Provide oversight for projects without a dedicated PM; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

• Partner with IT & business to align projects with strategy; improve resource allocation & comms.

• Track KPIs, budgets, risks/issues; deliver crisp exec-level updates.

Must Have

• 5+ yrs in IT, incl. 3+ yrs IT project/program management within/alongside a PMO.

• Strong SDLC fluency (Agile + Waterfall), release/change governance, and portfolio reporting.

• Tools: Jira , MS Project , Visio , MS Office ; familiar with ITSM processes/tools.

• Stakeholder management, facilitation, and exec-ready communication.

• Bachelor s degree; PMP strongly preferred .

Good To Have

• Scrum Master and/or ITIL .

• Stood up or matured a PMO.

• Manufacturing experience (ERP/MES/PLM helpful).

• Scenario planning and capacity modeling.
