Peraton is seeking a cleared mid-level Site Lead with an engineering or construction background, to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop a next generation satellite terminal. The program provides architectural, design, construction and engineering of terminals and systems support as well as operation and maintenance of Ground Terminals for a classified customer. This is an on-site position in Augusta, GA, where you will be working closely with civilian subcontractors in addition to your primary team in order to build up the Ground Terminal facility and prepare it for an antenna installation. The Site Lead will be responsible for the following but not limited to: - Monitors construction activities, provides daily and weekly reporting and updates of status to prime
- Coordinates with on-base personnel
- Assists with permitting processes including documentation and coordinating visits to the site by decision makers
- Attends meetings, provides some guidance to sub-contractors
- Works with remote logistics team regarding shipping, base access coordination, safety
- Typical work schedule is 7-4, adjusting for day to day needs of the project
Qualifications Required Qualfiications: - Secret level clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelors Degree plus 8-10 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree with 6-8 years of related expereince, or a PhD with 3-5 years of related experience or High-school Diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a completed degree
- Engineering background or prior construction industry experience required
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Proficiency with CAD or MS Visio
- Willing to take relevant trainings including safety, aerial lifts, telehandler.
Desired Qualifications: - Experience with MS Project is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
