Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience. Clients will consider a CFY/BL when relevant experience is documented (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required.
- Active Georgia state license required prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates already licensed in GA are preferred due to processing timelines.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Competency treating CVA, Parkinson’s, oncology-related deficits, debility, cognitive impairment, and dysphagia.
- Experience with MBSS is a hard requirement.
- Experience with VitalStim and LSVT LOUD is preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital with inpatient rehabilitation, acute care and ICU units.
- Unit: 15-bed short-term sub-acute rehab unit; department supports adult OP and acute care.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Shift name: Days.
- Typical shift times: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (manager open to adjustments).
- Orientation: Five days of facility/unit orientation with co-treat and ramp-up as needed.
- Float expectations: May float to outpatient when needed; advance notice provided.
- Weekend/Holiday: Weekend rotation not required; manager may pick up weekends or holidays if desired.
- Support: Therapy manager on site, seasoned therapists available, CNAs/RNs on the floor, scheduler support available.
