Art Director, Earned Media
- Create social-first ideas that earn engagement. Develop concepts for paid and earned social that translate business objectives, audience insights and cultural opportunities into engaging creative. Use performance insights to refine concepts, formats and content.
- Bring exceptional art direction to social. Apply a sophisticated visual point of view across photography, video, typography, composition, color, motion and design. Turn hospitality experiences into compelling stories while translating each brand's character into culturally relevant creative.
- Lead and influence productions. Shape social-first opportunities within existing brand shoots and lead dedicated social shoots from concept through post. Provide hands-on direction on set and travel as needed.
- Build creative partnerships and lead agencies. Manage agencies and creative partners as an extension of the team. Provide direction, elevate the work and collaborate across creative and brand disciplines.
- Champion the work. Present concepts to creative leadership, brand teams and senior stakeholders. Articulate creative rationale, defend decisions and build alignment.
- Use AI to enhance creative. Seek opportunities to accelerate ideation, visual development, production and content adaptation. Explore workflows that make creative more ambitious and scalable without compromising brand integrity.
- 6+ years of professional experience in art direction, creative advertising, social, digital, brand or related creative disciplines.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional art direction, visual storytelling and conceptual thinking, including social-first work.
- Deep understanding of hospitality, travel, lifestyle or other experience-driven brands, with the ability to work across diverse brand identities and audiences.
- Expertise in typography, layout, composition, color, photography, visual identity and brand expression.
- Demonstrated experience art directing photography and video, from treatments and shot lists through on-set direction. Ability to travel and be hands-on during brand and social-first shoots.
- Experience leading external agencies and creative partners to extend capacity, bring fresh thinking and elevate the work.
- Fluency in AI-powered creative tools and workflows for ideation, visual exploration, image and video creation, production and content adaptation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and PowerPoint, with the ability to communicate ideas through decks, comps, mood boards, storyboards and prototypes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationale and build stakeholder relationships.
