The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety within assigned facilities during day shifts. As an individual contributor, the Custodian performs routine cleaning tasks, operates cleaning equipment, and ensures compliance with safety standards. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to create a clean and safe environment for all building occupants with no travel required. We have FT & PT mornings & evening shifts available M-F.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout assigned areas
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Interact courteously with building occupants and visitors
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in custodial services
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment use
- Understanding of safety compliance requirements
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Teamwork and effective communication skills
