HR Generalist
- Manage full lifecycle of employees: recruiting, onboard, orientation, exit interviews, terminations
- Training: with Director develop and run training programs, work with managers and supervisors to develop employees
- Manage and track mandatory trainings such as anti-harassment
- Employee Relations: Coordinate performance evaluations and probationary reviews, conduct investigations, provide guidance and coaching, run exit interviews
- Legal: Ensure compliance with Federal state and local laws as well as various other mandates
- Reporting: compile various reports as needed
- Open Enrollment: help roll out and manage all Museum open enrollment periods.
- Administration: Periodic review, update and roll out of Job descriptions, employee handbook, and policies, maintain all employee files traditional and electronic.
- Interoffice communication
- Monthly employee engagement treats or activities
- Facilitate all team meeting and trainings
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of employment law
- Ability to represent the museum and its mission and values to large and small groups
- Excellent people-management skills and ability to work in a collaborative, flexible environment that encourages innovation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools
- Knowledgeable about database maintenance
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- HRIS system experience expert, Paylocity preferred
