Opportunity:

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Must be available to work various days of the week
• On-call requirements: 2 twenty-four hour calls every 8 weeks
• Weekend requirements: minimum every other weekend
• Holiday requirements: minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Required certifications upon hire: BLS, RN license (single state or compact), PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 18 months), ACLS (within 180 days)
• Education requirement: Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Must have ability to read, write and speak English with basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential
• Provide direct patient care using evidence-based practice and nursing process
• Coordinate care delivery and documentation for safe, quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration and shared governance activities
• Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
