Restaurant Shift Manager

Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Cooking:

• Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of all menu items.
• Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes, and food safety guidelines.
• Monitor food inventory and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels.

Kitchen Management:

• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to companies standards of food preparation, hygiene, and safety.
• Schedule and manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage of food, equipment maintenance, and sanitation procedures.

Quality Control and Customer Service:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that food quality, presentation, and portion sizes consistently meet companies standards.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The essential functions of this role include:

• standing for 6 hours at one time
