Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ABA Therapist with RBT or BCBA certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health, particularly with toddlers and preschoolers, and a deep understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. You will play a key role in conducting assessments, developing individualized behavior plans, and working closely with families to implement effective therapeutic strategies. Services will be performed inside a daycare in Alpharetta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each clients unique needs
  • Deliver ABA therapy sessions focused on promoting positive behavior change and skill development
  • Collect, review, and analyze data to track client progress and modify interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure holistic and consistent care
  • Provide parent and caregiver training on implementing behavior strategies at home
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and assessment reports
  • Stay current on ABA research and best practices to continually improve client outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current RBT or BCBA certification
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field (Masters preferred)
  • Experience in behavioral health or special education, especially working with children
  • Strong understanding and application of ABA techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse settings
  • Valid Drivers License and auto insurance
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must be experienced and competent in the field, maintaining any necessary licensure or certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience supporting children with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Experience conducting behavior assessments and writing treatment plans
  • Background in psychology, behavioral analysis, or related field
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, 5 days per week
